Sleep paralysis in a supernatural sense is called many names across the globe. The problem with sleep paralysis with a supernatural twist is scientist are not able to identify why all over the world, regardless of our our, religion, race, cultural beliefs, we all seem to suffer from very similar experiences.
If you take a man out of the jungle that has never seen a television, a radio, or newspaper and compare his experiences to a 20 year old woman in California, it would seem his demons would be different than ours, but there not.
In this book, you will find countless articles from across the web from scientist stating why they do and why they do not think it is normal. You will find experiences I have gathered from discussion forums from real people just like us. You will find links to information as to why many believe the state of sleep paralysis in itself is used as portal of some sorts to allow our paranormal visitors. You will also find links to those that don’t. It is my hope that you find this an encyclopedia of information gathered throughout the web and more to help you decide what you think is happening and why. You will also find tips from the clergy and physicians to help these occurrences stop.
This project should be completed by the end of 2009.

For the past few years I have had contact with invisible beings and out of body experiences; all in bed. I've also had many experiences with lucid dreaming. I don’t know why it happens -- it just happens. A typical occurrence is me waking up, completely paralyzed (yet fully conscious), able to feel and hear things happening in the room. I believe the first time I actually encountered a being was my third semester in college when I was lying on my belly in my room with all of the lights on, taking a nap. No one else was in the room, and I woke up paralyzed, unable to move. I heard (what sounded like) many whispers, all in different (possibly the same, but definitely foreign) languages. I could not make out exactly what any of the whispers were, but I did get this: “veng-eance” with a long draw on the “g.” It was a sad and moppy tone, but I heard it clearly, in my right ear specifically … In other attacks I’ve heard angry voices yelling at me and ending with “you’re going to burn in hell.”
