Sunden Nocttunral Death Syndrome (SUNDS)

This is something I have been meaning to write about for some time. I think you will find this as appalling as I do. Again more about it will be in the book, but I had to share some of it with you now as it is just unbelievable to me.

Sudden unexplained death syndrome

Source Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sudden unexpected death syndrome (SUDS) or sudden unexpected nocturnal death syndrome (SUNDS) is sudden unexpected death of adolescents and adults during sleep.

Sudden unexplained death syndrome was first noted in 1977 among Hmong refugees in the US.
The disease was again noted in Singapore, when a retrospective survey of records showed that 230 otherwise healthy Thai men died suddenly of unexplained causes between 1982 and 1990.
In the Philippines, SUDS affects 43 per 100,000 per year among young Filipinos. Most of the victims are young males.
Survivors describe a feeling of intense fear and paralysis. There is a sensation of pressure in the chest, the presence of an alien being in the room and altered sensation .

This to me is very frightening - note where they state due to the alarming amount of people dying in their sleep they were forced to create “Sunden Nocttunral Death Syndrome (SUNDS)

Ok, now we have people that are dying from something that a lot of scientist and health officials are saying that "oh it is nothing, harmless, just common ole sleep paralysis" AND then create a name by force to have a diagnosis to put on paper as to why these people or better yet a cause of death. These are the same people that say hey we really don't know what it is, but don't worry about it, sleep on your side and you will be ok, if not well, then we will just say you died of Sudden Nocttunral Death Syndrome, no big deal.....What is wrong with this picture?

Reminds me of a childhood saying, I think it is Shakespeare. 'Oh What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.

  1. In Filipino folklore there are a variety of dark entities which collectively may be known as Aswang. Details on particular entities vary from region to region, but one description of an entity known as the Batibat resembles the Hag phenomenon. Discussing the subject with a Filipina friend, she informed me of the belief that the Batibat were the ghosts of people who had died in their sleep.
